STAY-AT-HOME ORDER - Parks & Amenities Remain Open
During the Stay-at-Home Order - All outdoor municipal parks, green spaces & outdoor amenities including baseball diamonds, sports fields, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, skate parks, bike trails, playgrounds, fitness equipment, etc., remain open for use for the purpose of outdoor exercise.
- Use of amenities must be done in compliance with all Provincial Orders and Public Health Recommendations, including proper physical distancing measures, adhering to social gathering limits, and the appropriate use of masks in effect at the time of use.
- Any person who enters or uses an amenity must maintain a physical distance of at least two metres from any other person who is using the amenity unless the other person resides in the same household.
- Team sports and sports or games that are likely to result in individuals coming within two metres of each other are not permitted to be practiced or played.
- Tennis and pickleball must be single play unless individuals pairs playing double play reside in the same household.

The Town's Parks and Recreation division is responsible for the Meridian Credit Union and Centennial Arenas, Town Buildings (Court House, Community Centre, Queenston Library), Parks, Sports Fields (Centennial and Memorial), Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery, and the Community Guide.
